*dances aimlessly*

There's a reason I type *dances aimlessly* a lot.

Because I do. A lot. I can't stand still, not ever. Always with the songboogie or the hipshimmy. Those who know me in person can testify.

And it's not of the "dancing to imaginary music" sort. Because then, see, it wouldn't be dancing aimlessly. Just - I can't stand still. So I do silly little dancey things.

On another note altogether, thanks to aussie_nyc, who may be the only person who's kissed more pretty LJ girls on the eastern seaboard than I have, I now have a Gmail account. I feel thoroughly l33t.

EDIT: It has been decided that aussie_nyc and I both need to kiss more girls.

Walking is a dance

Standing in lines I go through the basic ballet positions. First, second, third, fourth, fifth, step back to first. I have to work to keep my arms from following the foot motions. At work I try to practice my abdominal isolations for belly dance while I sit.

Shimmy, shift, spin, shuffle-step, jazz transition, contract, release, cross and step. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Dance is joy.

But I'm going to give it my best shot when I'm there in a couple of weeks! Yes indeedy!
