Hello to new readers rockstarjesus and ximianmonkey!

All you need is just a little patience...
I've noticed a rash of New Kids friending me then unfriending me a few days/week later because I didn't friend them back. Y'all, I say this every so often... it's going to take me a while to go through all of y'all's journals. And if you don't eventually get the addback, please do not take it personally; my friends page is kinda out of control as it is, so much so that I'm considering making reading filters, which I'd never wanted to do - but may have to, reading one filter at work and the rest at home. So it's not "you suck", it's "can't...do...any...more..."

Also I'm not going to add people who only do quizzes. Some of you do 'em every so often, and that's cool. But if your journal doesn't have actual CONTENT, I'm not missing anything by not reading you, y'know? Not being snotty. Just sayin'.

Today's Mission
Got to correct the spring schedule to reflect the last-minute changes. And write up all of the upcoming seminars. And file recommendation letters. And copy evaluations. And... yah. Busy bee.

Moose
I now have the moose my parents bought me in the office. He's straddling the stapler. His name is Zeus the Moose. All hail Zeus the Moose!

Sleep-Dep
Day three. Gyah. I MUST get to bed early tonight. My brain is all floopy.

And now I must catch up with my friendspage from 5:00 PM onward. Which will likely be skip-400. Gyah.

I was not going to leave the office for lunch today.

But ashlupa seduced me away from my desk, naughty vixen that she is.

There was much giggling. A new word was coined - jackassery. I wasn't sure if it was a word, but we have agreed that it is now, and that we are acquainted with the biggest jackass in Atlanta. La!

And I had a meal that included soy and did not suffer anaphylaxis. La!

And one of the more interesting exchanges:

Me: "The Clie is my new favorite toy! Well, Besides the iVibe."
Ash: "Well, if we could merge them somehow... you know, all we need is a vibrator with a firewire port. I bet we could manage that..."
Me: "I am not being your product tester."

Right, then. Back to work. And I'm glad y'all are having fun with the Friending Frenzy.

That is without a doubt the oddest and most off-base misspelling of my last name EVER.

I mean, the professor is Czech and my last name is Russian. So there's some culture clash there, I guess. But I think he stuck some Polish in there too, just for good measure.

At least he spelled my first name right.

In that glossary is the word "butt-plug".

I have given up on BellSouth allowing me to AIM tonight. Connection keeps getting dropped.
