I am so date-confused this week.
iPod!
My freshment-orientation-program money hit the department account! W00t! My co-secretary is getting an iPod too, so if we can order them through the university computer store, we can charge directly to the account and halve the money we'd pay for shipping... the amount will just cover the iPods themselves.
iPod!
Book Fair
It surprised
yendi and I that we were the first (and only, to my knowledge) family to buy books from the classroom wishlist. Disappointing.
Fair was fun, as always, and Elayna spent her allowance on books that I approve of. I'm honestly surprised that she didn't go for some of the more babyish ones, like Junie B. Jones or Captain Underpants, but she truly seems to have outgrown them. With her family budget, she bought a Lemony Snicket book and the new edition of Ripley's Believe It or Not; with her allowance, she bought a mystery book by Paul Zindel and two other books that I can't remember right now.
My kid and Ripley's. This is the second year in a row.
Comics!
Identity Crisis is driving me crazy.
chebutykin's husband did an excellent job on the new animated-Batman book.
I had lots to read last night. :)
Geoff Johns has failed his saving roll on being a decent writer.
