So I'm pre-cleaning the whisk, having prepared the chocolate bourbon cake. How does one pre-clean a whisk? Well, duh. One licks the batter off. So I'm methodically licking off the batter, and I notice Adam staring at me.

Me: "What?"

He only grins in response. I roll my eyes and devote my attention to the chocolatey goodness coating the wires of the whisk. Long slow lick. Adam is watching me, grinning even wider.

"What?!?"

"That is the luckiest whisk in the world right now."
