My brain is all buzzy with the stuff I must not forget. Adam, pack the disk with the wedding pics!

I wish I could've taken today off so's to not be rushed with the packing, but I simply do not have the vacation or sick time to do so. I'm already not getting paid for some of my time next week. Have I mentioned how much it pisses me off that I have to use my own vacation time in order to get paid during the week that the department is officially closed and I couldn't come in if I wanted to? That just ain't right.

No one is in today, and I have very little work to do. Please prevent me from going insane. What female character do you want me to do a bio of? The 14 Nights style of bio, like I did of Jessamyn yesterday. I've already done them of Julia, Capri, and Tessa.

Name: Liane Michelle Farrell

Origin: California

Significant Other(s): Her husband, Nicholas, died about ten years ago. No serious relationships at present.

Siblings: Carolyn, three years younger - no spark of Dasaroi blood or talent.

Child(ren): Shawn.

Appearance: It's boring to say "typical L'Arathi", but she is (and so was Nicholas) - chestnut hair, worn long and usually braided. Pale grey eyes bordered with dark green. Annie's usually seen in jeans, T-shirts, and Frye boots. Excellent cheekbones. (I don't know why that comes to mind - it just does!) She's aging gracefully - her hair is shot through with little stripes of silver that almost match her eyes.

Story: Annie is one of only two characters that made it from the very first inkling of my story through to this iteration. Her story has changed completely, but she hasn't, if that makes sense!

I'm trying to come up with stuff to say about her that wouldn't spoil things. This is difficult! But you're allowed to know this - she and Jessa, and by extension Nicholas and Fenris, were inseparable for a good chunk of their teenage years and beyond. And the fact that Jessa spent her life, by necessity, in the spotlight, allowed Annie to do what needed to be done behind the scenes...

What I want most for $WINTERHOLIDAY

What I want most for $WINTERHOLIDAY is for y'all to pre-order the anthology that that first bit of Shayara is going to appear in.

It's brief, yes, but it's got a hell of a lot of continuity. In ways that you won't necessarily realize right away. But I guarantee a "holy shit!"

I think I did a damn good job on it - and it's some of xanadumalion's best artwork ever. (And yes, X'Ana agrees.)

If there's enough interest in it, there's the possibility of a full issue of Shayara to follow.

This is my story, and I want to share it.

So! What I want the mostest is for you to go order Shooting Star Comics Anthology #6, from your local comic shop or from Westfield Comics or, hey, any other mail-order company. So. Please to be doing that.

I hate packing. And I hafta pack for... I don't know how long, even! Because I don't know how long kires is taking me for. Sooo.... I have to pack for Monday plus approximately three to five days.

Needless to say, I'm not counting out doses, I'm just tossing in the big huge bottle of pills!

I am all twitchy.

I hate airports I hate travel and this is supposed to be the busiest travel day of the year...
