1) Do you like your birth-name? Why?
I hate my birth-name with the fire of a thousand suns. Why? Because no one can pronounce it. Imagine having your name mangled every day for 32 years. See how you feel about it.
2) If you could change your name to anything else, what would it be?

Well, obviously I like "Elayna Jade". :) If she wasn't Elayna Jade, she'd have been Julia Erin or Emily Joy - Jewish naming tradition, naming kids with the initials of deceased relatives.
Were I to spawn again, Adam and I like Miranda, and I like Daniel Halloran. :)
4) If you had a band, what would you name it, and why?
Pumpkin Spider. (Long story, best told in person to utilize voice and gesture fun.) One of the fun parts of being a writer? I get to use all the fun band names I come up with! Pumpkin Spider and Driftwood Angels are bands in Shayara.

Mmmm. Not really. I've had icky people in my life, but their names have tended to repeat on good people, so no name is truly tainted.
