This Saturday.

Writing Marathon.

:)

Time (noon sound good?) and location to be decided (either my place or [livejournal.com profile] karlita's - you're looking at a one-block variance).

This writing marathon is women-only by request... sorry, guys! But all women are welcome, and not just from Georgia (*eyes [livejournal.com profile] rhiannonhero, [livejournal.com profile] skyra, and [livejournal.com profile] gwynraven, among others).

What's a writing marathon?

Look and see! )

I highly recommend writing marathons... the combination of being forced to kickstart your writerbrain and being in a room full of writers gives you great energy!

Please RSVP in comments.

Medical
Bleh. See yesterday and Monday. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Daily Science
Two Daily Sciences today!

Mouse Party. In Mental_Floss's words, "Drag the little cartoon lab mice into a scanner, and you get to see what various controlled substances do to their brains. Best part: When they’re not in the scanner, the little guys act like they’re actually on their respective drugs, all to a cool club beat: Ecstasy Mouse can’t stop doing pelvic thrusts, Heroin Mouse is laid out on the couch, and Alcohol Mouse has fallen and can’t get up, apparently because of a wicked hangover."

Grand Rounds - the week's best medical posts.

No Daily BPAL yet, because I am going back to sleep and the pretty smellies distract me.

I have been flat on my back pretty much all day, either sleeping or just too worn out to do stuff.

I am telling myself that this will pass.

Just... that's why I haven't gotten 'round to anything.
