Medical
Still dragged out. Note: In future, do not plan cons two weekends in a row. I'magine how burned out I'd be had I gone to the Flea the weekend before Arisia!
Have established that I am allergic to
feste_sylvain-and-
tamidon's cats. Which sucks, because I adore them. But within minutes of cuddling them last night, my eyes were red and swollen, and the long-dormant eczema on my left arm erupted like the Witchblade. I'm *still* itchy all over. I'd stopped taking my Allegra, see, since it was no longer Allergy Season and I don't like taking more medication than I need. So. Note. Take Allegra when planning to sleep over at boyfriend's house.

Schedule's here. It'll just be me and Elayna tonight, but Adam'll be coming the other days. We are available for meals, if you'll be at Vericon or just in the Harvard Square area.

Thoughs on this? I may adopt her distribution model...
Link Soup
* The Wonderful World of Early Computing.
* Origami like whoa.
* Things that make David Bruce Banner Hulk out.
* An illustrated history of trepanation.
Daily Science
An important step has been taken in the quest to create a synthetic lifeform.
A US team reports in Science magazine how it built the entire DNA code of a common bacterium in the laboratory using blocks of genetic material.
The group hopes eventually to use engineered genomes to make organisms that can produce clean fuels and take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.

Friday Memage!
Wearing: My favorite new red sweater and jeans. Hair is in a low ponytail.
Reading: The Way for the Torah, by Jacob Neusner; Sin in the Second City: Madams, Ministers, Playboys, and the Battle for America's Soul, by Karen Abbo; Idolon, by Mark Budz.
Writing: Hopefully and hypothetically, The Things We Value and Seizure Lass. No, I won't have much time today; I'll be happy if I just get them fully outlined. That's within my grasp. Also must decide what February's Wind Tunnel Dream is going to be. And... Rabbit Hole Day is coming up!
Planning: Vericon - which is fortunately very easy to commute to (one bus!), and not wild like Arisia, so I get to play in small doses and sleep in my own bed.
