Jack Update

I know, I know, it's all I'm talking about. Scroll past if you don't care. It's kinda the biggest thing in my world right now.

*stretch*

So this morning and afternoon, he ate a little bit! We got him some of the uber-fancy canned foods that are packaged and presented like people food. When I set him in front of the dish, he ate! Slowly and with lots of pauses, but it *has* been days since he's taken solid food. He ate a little bit again when I set him in front of the dish again just now.

He still has not peed or pooped. The insides of his ears are still yellow. But I have to believe that eating, even if only a little, is a good sign.

We were going to spend a few days in Vermont on college tours; the plan has been revised. Adam and Elayna will still be going, but I'll be staying home to monitor Jack. (If he'd started eating this weekend, I'd've gone; Judah will still be here, but he works very long hours, and I'd like Jack to be checked on frequently.)

So yeah. Keep thinking good thoughts for the doofy kittyboy.

*stretch again* Adam and Elayna will leave soon for Vermont, and then I will try to get caught up on the massive backlog of work and e-mail.
