...and then I swear I'll go do stuff that does not involve LJ.

Medical
Brain Meds: The usual exhaustion + nausea, some tingliness about the face, some slowness of thought, some fumbliness. EDIT: Tremors like whoa.

Pain: Fierce headache! Took Excedrin. Otherwise, I woke up with achy arms, neck, and shoulders.

BPAL
Some have asked; for those who have not, but have been wondering, BPAL = Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. "Smelly stuff", as [livejournal.com profile] crisavec puts it. Essential oils blended like fine wines, in unexpected and intriguing ways. Seriously. I have never been a perfume girl. (And this isn't perfume - no alcohol!) But this is addictive.

Szepasszony: A chilly, tempestuous whirlwind of clear, airy notes, slashing rain, and a thin undercurrent of white flowers.
In the bottle: Crisp and very lightly floral.
On me: Chemical-y. Aquatic notes or rose, or both; both go to hell on my skin with a quickness. *sniff* Ach. Soapy. I will pass on this.

Centzon Totochtin: The Four Hundred divine rabbits of the Aztec pantheon that preside over parties and drunkenness. Bittersweet Mexican cocoa with rum, red wine, and a scent redolent of sacrificial blood.
In bottle: Dark chocolate!
On me: The dark chocolate rises from my wrist, and quickly blends with the rum. Then something else... the "blood"? Thickening it. Chocolate still rides high. *sniff* Oooh, there's the wine! This is nice. Will have to monitor it to make sure the chocolate doesn't go all fake-y like it's done on Bliss and Velvet, but so far, chocolate + rum = crazy delicious. EDIT: Oh, my. This fades to chocolate rum/red wine truffle. All your Centzon are belong to us.

Van Van: A venerable voodoo blend, used for purification of the spirit and to amplify positive personal power.
In bottle: *sniff* I do not know what that is. Something chemical-y.
On me: ... not chemical-y. Dammit, I do not know what the hell that is. *laugh* *keeps smelling* AAAAGH! There's lemon in there! Ew ew ew no no no. *scrub* Feh. Blech. *fierce glare at imp of Van Van* *later sniff* And now it's vanilla. Vanilla and lemon.

Djinn: The scent of black smoke, of crackling flames, and smoldering ashes.
In bottle: Crisp. Not smoky.
On me: Still crisp! Hm. I am perplexed. Is this maybe something else, mislabelled? I just get crisp-and-clean from it. And I usually *get* smoke with things that purport to be smoky, like Cairo. *sniff* Okay, it's going darker and ashy now. Still clean, though. This is an oddment.

I'm not going to swap stuff til I'm done testing all my new pretties, because I don't want to end up sending someone three packages when I could've just waited and sent them one. Plus, I'll be re-testing some of these that I'm on the fence about. I'll make a list in the near-ish future so you can request what you'd like, but things won't be mailed immediately.

I am definitely keeping Centzon, and most likely keeping Djinn.

As for wishlisting: What I want most right now that I do not have is Torture King. Everything else that I've fallen in love with so far, I either have an imp or bottle of or have one coming, or it's general catalog. Torture King is limited edition. If you have Torture King and do not love it... *clasps hands together* pretty please?
