I really need help with the Backup Project table at Boskone. I have the buttons, I have the flyers - what I need is someone to run things! Halp?

Otherwise, oof. I don't have a lot of Robaxin left, so I've been rationing it, and I didn't take one last night. I am paying for that this morning. My job today is to get as much of my office boxed and neatly stacked as possible, since it's about to become omnisti's temporary bedroom and thus I won't have much access to it til the day before moving day. I will do what I can. The hard thing is not doing more than I can.

Thank you for the Valentinrs, those of you who sent them! <3 We're sort of postponing Valentine's Day this year. I did get the guys a thing, but I can't say what it is yet.

I forget the exact percentages, but Judah found that if people made it to (I think) 30% of their Kickstarter goal, they're almost guaranteed to make it to 100%. I'll have him dig up his research.

Nudge me to signal boost again if you're stalling towards the end! I want that book! <3

I heard that too, but I still kind of fear that it will vanish into the depths of Kickstarter's site, never to be found again...

I really want to do this. I'll be making work for at least two other people this way, and it's sort of a proof to me that independent publishing can still keep people afloat who work in the book business but aren't authors: copyeditors, layout people, etc.

I want the ecosystem to survive, you know?

I don't want to let you down by promising something I cannot deliver, which is why I hadn't replied earlier. I'm going to be at the beck and call of other people's schedules this Boskone, rather than a free agent and an open timetable, as is my norm, otherwise I would volunteer some table time. I'm sorry.
