i downloaded the D&D Character Generator Demo, which is like the old version of the one WotC sells in stores; it's for D&D 2nd and it's good enough for rolling up a first-level character...

D&D is d6 based, right?

i read the big D&D thread, so i sortakinda get the grid system... sorta. =) which 4 stats get filled by the grid? and how much fundage do we start with to buy gear? it's been so long since i've played a D&D-based game...

i'm also thinking y'all don't need any more half-elves. =) do you need a fighter type? [heh, Fighter in 8-Bit Theater...] a magic-user type? who all is playing what?

In the Vampire game I've been ST'ing for something like 7 years now, we keep a running 'quote list' of silly, stupid or profound things that get said by players (and occasionally even by the wise and venerable ST). All the players have to do is look at each other and say "Friends don't let friends shoot insurance agents" or "Yo quiero first aid" and they all burst out laughing.
And yes, darkmattr , you made the list when I ran the session at Con-Quest.
