Ankle still throbby. :( Will take Advil.

Almost too distracted to read my book at lunch... not because of the ankle, which was safely propped on a chair, but because of Shayara stuff. Looking forward to my writing night. :)

My toes are numb - is that a Bad Thing?

That is all for now.

I think numb toes are bad. Have you even thought about calling your doctor? Would you, please? Do you need a ride somewhere?

Have no doctor! I'll sleep on it, see how it is....

Then go to the campus clinic or whatever it is there. Or whatever doc-in-the-box is closest. Really. Numb is bad. And you have our phone numbers, so please use them if you need a ride.

If you have no doctor, this is a good reason for an ER visit. Numb is bad bad, gets worse not better, bad, heals wrong and hurts forever bad.

Nonono. Ankle screwed up many times before. Not gonna fall of if I twist it a little. :)

Numbness is never good. A doctor would be a good idea about now.

numbness is never a good thing. I dropped a 2 litre bottle of Diet Coke on my foot last week and hardly felt a thing. That wasn't good. Numbness in feet is always a good time to seek medical advice.

See doctor or no gaming for you, missy!

See, I'm a mommy. I can be like that. :)

I'm a mommy too, so I can ignore that, and gaming is at my house, som you can't kick me out, so *nyah*. :)

Numbness means that you have damaged one of the nerves. Probably the swelling is entrapping it and inflaming it all. If you don't go to the doctor keep an eye on it and see if you get feeling back as the swelling goes down. If not you need to see a doctor.

BTW, I turned my ankle really badly a year ago and didn't go to a doc (lived in CA at the time and had no insurance, plus some other stuff.) I ended up having surgery in November and probably will have more eventually. So I know way too much about every possible symptom you can have. Just take good care of it and lemme know if you have any more questions.
