Okay. More idjit student worker hijinks.
Phone rings. He answers it. He walks around the corner to me and says, "Someone's asking for Mary Jane, but she's on the phone. What should I tell them?"
I struggled to restrain a look of complete disbelief. "Um. Tell them she's on the phone. And take a message."
"Oh, okay."
I can't handle this, dude. Seriously. Plus, I just had to deal with the campus bookstore screwing up over half of our fall book orders (omitting class listings and assigning the books for those classes as second texts for other, completely random classes. Getting everyone's names wrong. Getting order numbers wrong.). So. Yes. Major frustration with stupidity here.
Other than that, though, I'm doing great. Really. Having a happy and at-peace day. :)

I have to come in early to *my* job because he has to be at his at 9am. The people here are stupid, my boss is an ass and people keep bothering me. "Look this up, do this, Edie, are you in a bad mood?"
It's lucky there's that whole "background check waiting period" on gun purchasing. WalMart's just around the corner.

our bookstore is pretty good with everything (although, we recommend that students do all of their ordering online since actually getting to the bookstore is a pain), it's getting the faculty to prepare their orders in advance of the deadline that's the hassle.
sometimes i'm glad i'm in *admissions*.

I'm pretty good at browbeating the faculty to get their orders in - but the bookstore has always been incompetent. :(
