Vintage fur doesn't count, right? Right? I got slammed one time by some vegan lesbians for wearing 50 year old fur. Hmpf.

Seriously, once the coat exists, and especially once it's already being used, I don't see wearing it as wrong the minks are still dead, and it's not like you're actively pumping money into a mink farm.
Besides, it'll keep the word "Hollanderize" alive. :-)
That said, I can't imagine wearing fur myself, as much from a fashion sense (only Vin Diesel can really pull it off, amongst folks my age or younger) as from a sense of loving the animals.
