tikimama and melintur are coming to DragonCon!!!

I am very very bouncy right now.

You must realize this... for the past, ummm, 3 years or so, dlscanlon, tikimama, and melintur have been at the very top of the list of Tamson Housers that we'd never met but Need To Meet. The tippy top. (podling, tanaise, morenasangre, we've already met you, is why you're not on that list.) They have been on the tippy top for so long that we no longer keep track of the strata beneath them.

We met (and loved) dlscanlon last month. Now tikimama and melintur are coming to DragonCon! Yee! Dream come true! :)

I am verra happy. And bouncy. And now I must cons ume caffeine.

I'm really excited, too. I had been thinking about it for about a week, but we were supposed to have some friends come and stay with us for Labor Day (David from TH and bf).

In any case, I mentioned that I thought it would be cool to go to Craig on Thursday night. We checked flights and stuff, I asked for the time off on Friday, booked tickets and hotels and we're off! Impulse vacation!

I'm excited to meet everyone! I've only met mousegrrl before, but now I get to meet all the ones I've been dying to meet for a million years: yendi, shadesong, tanaise,podling(and her posse, apparently), morenasangre(and Bret). As well, all the LJ users I've gotten to know (whom I only knew by reputation before): edie22, darkmattr, kellinator. Did I forget anyone? I'm sleepy.

You'll also meet stronae, two_star was thinking of going, and, oh, lotsa people. glenn5 and jet_li_wannabe and deza, who you don't really know but who are very cool. :)

I'd love to meet two_star -- he only lives in Portland, you'd think we could arrange _some_ meeting.... It would be funny to meet in Atlanta when we are west coasties.
