Best. Show. Ever.

This was just the most amazing concert I have *ever* been to. Great Big Sea was fantastic. There are no words to say how fantastic they were. I'm hoarse from yelling out lyrics. I wolf-howled - full-on neck-craning Wolfrider "Ayooooah!" - during "Consequence Free" Laughing and singing and bouncing and clapping and the energy has wonderful, and this was just the best concert I've ever been to.

Was relating to yendi and mousegrrl later that I actually know every word to every song Great Big Sea has ever recorded. This is how fanatical I am. This band just... they mean a lot to me. Their music is to me, in some ways, a reflection of what's inside me, of the joy that I'm capable of. This rocked. :)

We left two songs into Young Dubliners, whose music was just offensively horrible (Prodigals wannabes). Because nothing could follow Great Big Sea.

I'm all floaty now. Blissed out.

I've seen them lots of times. They are so cool! I have almost all of their CDs. I'm in love with Alan Doyle.

I'm glad to see they're spreading the Newfie Love.

oh yes, Great Big Sea was awesome. I danced so much my legs hurt today. I suppose it helped that Young Dubliners was before Great Big Sea when I went. I didn't find them all that horrible. I own two of Great Big Sea's CDs, but I haven't listened to them much. I'm going to now. I intend to become quite the fanatic fan :)
