Ok, wasn't it the violent femmes that sang that Sponge bob song on that DVD and we all said they looked like accountants?

Linda Richmond is this Saturday Night Live character played by Mike Myers that has this call in talk shwo. They love Barbra, and she gets all verklept and gives odd topics like this.

The Femmes played Pier 6 Concert Pavilion in Baltimore a couple of summers ago. My friends and I, being cheap, decided to take a picnic dinner and sit on Pier 7, which is a public park-ish space, and listen to the concert. You can sorta almost see the stage from where we sat, and it was very cool having the harbor right behind us (not to mention the Seven Mile Shoal lighthouse, which was moved (years ago) to the pier where we were). It got really cold, but we had wine and blankets and huddled together for warmth. Much fun, and the Femmes sounded great.
