/me realizes that he's going to sound like a snob about this but I don't see a way around it.
Well, Ghiradelli and Godiva are in a class of chocolate just below the stuff that I generally like.
Probably the easiest to find of the chocolates that I do like would be Valrhona Le Noir Amer. You can see what the package looks like on shirleym's userinfo page. It's not Michel Cluizel Amer, Swartenbroeckx Noir, or Chocolat Bonat but you would probably have much difficulty finding those. Valrhona tends to be a bit too crumbly to get the best marks. With the Cluizel Amer 85%, just one piece tends to be "enough chocolate". The Swartenbroeckx Noir has been called pharmaceutical grade chocolate. The Chocolat Bonnat is a Sri Lankan Varietal that has to be the perfect chocolate but it's the only one that I've not been able to find again. Arghh!
Another chocolate that you might be able to find is Scharffen Berger 72%.
The other chocolates that I've found in this category are: Chocolove Extra Strong Dark Chocolove Strong Dark Rapunzel Pure Organic Swiss Chocolate
The Chocolove have a different love poem in each one...
I should probably turn all of this into a web page...
Um.. IF you ever feel like ordering some of the best damn chocolate in the states.. (I think) try these guys. They are handmade and very very very good. I worked there for a few months and well.. hot damn! I mean the store name is Chocolate Fetish.. They are fooling around. And Lissa (the owner maker)Uses this fantastic 70% cocco in the Velvet sin.. *so* good and the Ecstasy Blossom is buy far ym favorite. But enough about this... ~Li (http://www.chocolatefetish.com/cgi-priv/store/commerce.cgi?frontpage.html) ()
That's where guess occurs. Did they mostly not melt while leaving little chocolate spots or did the chocolate quickly melt, the chocolate quickly flowing down the curve of your cleavage making it more difficult and more interesting to clean up?
Chocolate down the cleavage is never subtle. I have been there many times. Today I managed to dump water down my front *without* getting my shirt wet. Right straight down my cleavage. Durring the crit session this morning. So surrounded by 20 some people. Luckily, only two of my (guy) friends were looking at me. They both snickered at me. I did not jump up or shriek though, so I give myself props for that.
