Left for lunch around 12:30. Got there at 12:40.

Got our food at 1:20. By which point I already had the Hypoglycemic Hell Headache.

Fortunately, I was able to talk "the girls" into going to Bruster's after lunch. Which doesn't really alleviate the Headache, but dammit, it tastes good, and I deserved it.

Hour and 40 minutes til I get to go home.

How many people are there in this group? Would it be possible to let them know at the beginning of planning in the future, "Look, I'm hypoglycemic. I must eat on a regular basis. If we are going to lunch, I must have food by X time. If that doesn't work for the rest of you, I'll have to go ahead by myself." I think it's perfectly reasonable, just setting a boundary that you need to take care of yourself. Please?

They run on southern time. It's ludicrous.

I did manage to get a light snack in, so I was okay... but it's far easier to just carry snacks around than to get these people to move their butts.
