Okay, we're ALL gonna gang up on you on the "prettier" part. I haven't seen the comic yet that can compare to the beauty of flashing eyes and flowing hair. A sweet smile and graceful movement...umm, okay I'm having weekend flashbacks again. Dragging brain back to picture of 'song...You Are Pretty, woman. You just are. Live with it. Get used to it. You don't have to feel pretty yourself, but you really should come to terms with the fact that the *rest* of the world thinks you're pretty. It's a wonderfully radical attitude shift when it happens.

Umm, do I sound like I'm talking from experience?? 'Cause, yeah, I am. I showed my roommate once, just before we moved into the new apartment, that I actually *am* very plain...if I blank the expression from my face, and point out the flaws to someone, they go, "Oh. Wow. Umm...yeah." See, that's how I see myself ALL the time. I wish I could, just for one moment, see myself through someone else's eyes, when I'm being cheerful and sparkling...because the looks I *get* from people would certainly imply that I'm something worth looking at. *sigh*

Until then, I shall use Chris' eyes as my mirror, because "in that mirror, I am altogether beautiful". You might try to take a page from Cordelia's book and use yendi in the same way.

But you need to come to terms with the difference between *being* pretty and the fact that everyone SEES you as pretty. You are pretty to everyone around you...and you need to realize that. Whether you ever look in your mirror and think that that's a pretty woman, it's a Good Thing to understand that reality includes the fact that everyone *else* considers you pretty.
