Those of you who have known me for a while know how I get about my birthday.

I freakin' love my birthday. My 16th birthday party was the only good one I had in my childhood/adolescence (we attended a writing workshop and went to see Nightbreed and bought $40 worth of candy). And early adulthood, come to think of it.

I've only started to reclaim my birthday in the past five years. So I'm making up for lost time.

We will have two(!) ice cream cakes from Brusters! And party favors! And there will be music and celebration! And I'm flying a cute boy down for the occasion! And I'll start working out the details soon.

This will be my 30th birthday. It is a milestone. So it will rock.

My birthday is March 2nd, and I'm planning already.

I am the Birthday Princess.

March 2 is the Georgia Democratic Primary. Enjoy your birthday glee, but don't forget to vote! :)

The party's on the following Saturday, so's not to take up your voting time. :)

My birthday is my favourite. Really it is. I used to take the day off as a holiday and get my friends to take it off too and then go do something like go to the Zoo or see a movie or the bunch of us would go out the night before and hang out until 3 a.m. so we could sing "Happy Birthday" to me when I was actually born.

This year, we're taking our little Pumpkin to my mothers for a weekend and i'm having lunch in Niagara on the Lake, dammit. Then i'm visiting friends in Buffalo that I haven't seen in too long that I miss terribly.

..and i'm having cake.

The last couple of years have been light on the Holiday and heavy on the "just another day". I should reclaim my freakin' holiday this year. I'll be 34, no milestone, but older than I ever thought i'd be.

Thank you for reminding me how much fun that was :-)

For the first time in my life, I've not had to plan my birthday activities. God love Jerry for taking that initiative. It's just the two of us, but it's still SOMETHING. ::curses her ex's who left it up to her to do something spectacular::

Past birthday parties that I've planned even had me cooking an entire meal for my guests. On MY birthday. Ok, ok, so I enjoy playing hostess, but still. Why did I do that?

::steals your tiara:: Just until the end of the week, mind you. You can have it back then. ;-)

Ha! No way am I cooking a feast for my birthday. I only do that on Thanksgiving...

And yes, I shall loan my tiara to you. :)

Last year I got smart and got the group together at the Cheesecake Factory. But I had to do all the organizing. Not fun.

Thanks, I'll make sure to shine it up for you before I return it. :-D

Congrats on another successful trip around the sun!

I've been trying to reclaim my own birthday for years, but inevitably it turns out to be a complete disaster or I end up all alone on that day. It's one of the reasons I decided to stop my age at 39 officially.... I won't acknowledge the time until Time is nice in how it acknowledges me :-)

Of course being born the day before Halloween/Sam Hain is usually a good chunk of the problem.

I feel your pain. I usually make plans, then everyone backs out. I've even offered to take other people out and pay for their dinners and they still back out.

And my ex (as of two nights ago) just had his birthday, he just whined the whole day about how many people sent him happy birthday messages! Poor baby. What an ass!!

You and I should steal his Birthday Fu so it can be used for people who would appreciate it more! Like Us!

Yeah, the Matrix must be overloaded.

My birthday is March the 3rd.

Then I must be the birthday queen! :) I, too, love my birthday. I just always have this fear that it's going to suck, if that makes any sense!

I shall insist that the balloons be half white, half black. And you must be skipping along with a big ol' happy cone of ice cream!

I insist! *meeps a lot*

I was just wondering yesterday what you were thinking of doing for your birthday, since I have been thinking what to do for mine. I am thinking of travelling ... maybe finally visiting Vienna or Strausbourg. I want #30 to be special, but not really sure what I want to do.

*dreaming*

Whee! Yeah, I'm not much for organizing big gatherings to go out. But I love my friends. So. Party at my place. And on my birthday itself, just a quiet get-together.

I would invite you to the yearly Pisces Party out here to celebrate with the School of Fish out here, but you know... I will invite you anyway and you can be here in spirit. We will most likely go out to Japanese steakhouse again. I think. I love surprises. No one will think to surprise me for my birthday, but I can pretend. I can surprise the other Pisces! Then I can have a vicarious surprise! What do you want for your birthday?

Rock on, girl! You have a super birthday!

It's so funny when you said your birthday was March 2. That's my lil brother's birthday, too. ~giggles~ Definitely a busy birth time!

I hope your day is absolutely wonderful and filled with joy. You deserve it!
