So whenever [livejournal.com profile] yendi and I see a little something that Elayna might like, we pick it up for her and put it in the goody box to be given to her later. We discovered by around October of last year that the goody box was filling up faster than we could dispense the goodies, so for the most part, we stopped buying stuff.

On a lark, I decided to go through the goody boxes (as there are two now, big Hammermill paper boxes) to see if there wrre things there that we could use as Chanukah gifts. Oh, yes. Yes, there were. To give you an idea of how insane we are, this is what we gleaned from the goody box:

Night 1: Four Groovy Girl dolls and two outfits for said dolls.

Night 2: Chinese checkers, and two PowerPuff Girls GameBoy games.

Night 3: Monsters, Inc. night! A Build-Your-Own Sully talking model kit, light-up Mike necklace, and a "fright pack" with three small toys inside. We will also be including the DVD in this night's package.

Night 4: Art night! Three Curiosity Kits mini-kits (mosaic picture frames, magic mood crystals, fairy friends), a small dollmaking kit, and a spin art set.

Night 5: PowerPuff Girls desk set and crazy straw; will probably pick up one more small PPG item.

Night 6: Snakes and bugs night! A pack of play snakes and a "creepy crawlies kit".

Night 7: To be determined... I know she'll decide at the last minute that she'll simply Have To Have something.

Night 8: Bean bag chair. Note that, at around $60 for the personalized cotton one (not getting icky sticky vinyl!), this is easily the most expensive night - I'm *very* good at finding sales).

And we still have one big box full of goodies...

I already know one thing I'm getting her.

I was at Animatinos? or something lke that and they have little girl superman shirts. They're all sparkly, think she'd like one of those? =)
