Next movie night!

The next movie night will be this upcoming Saturday, August 3rd! We'll once again start around 4, with a trip to Bruster's around five, thereby giving us time to talk, because we seem to do a lot of that. Theme suggestions are welcome. Random people I haven't met yet are also welcome. :)

I'd be more than willing to help with a theme, but the only movies I have on DVD are "Das Boot" and a Clint Eastwood trilogy, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly", "For a Few Dollars More" and "A Fistfull of Dollars"...

See, I only recently got a DVD player, and I've not had time to build my collection...

I ran one potential theme by shadesong a few nights ago -- fun Bruce Willis movies. Starting with Die Hard (becasue she hasn't seen it), followed by 12 Monkeys, followed by The Fifth Element (because it's the best for late-night viewing).

It's always hard to remember what you haven't seen... someone called me out on one during the last movie night. I've heard "Pi" was supposed to be good, and then, anything newer than LOTR has been lost on me.

My offer to bring Amazon Women on the Moon still stands, if you want. The associated drinking game is you do a shot every time you recognize an actor (when the movie was filmed, the vast majority of actors used were complete unknowns).
