She's been picked up by the other mom. She's on her way to her camping trip. And I am all forlorn.

Buck up, little camper.

She'll have fun, you'll have lots of Cinderella II: Electric Boogaloo-less fun, and then when she gets back, you two will be even happier to see each other.

And if that doesn't cheer you up, just think: Lex in panties. ;)

That's a thought that always cheers me up. Just think it's only a weekend. Isn't she gone for like 6 weeks this summer?

Okay, that was just cruel, reminding me of that. *pout*

sorry. *sheepish look* um. Just think about how happy you'll be when you see her? =)

I am such a Bad Mommy. My boys spend the night at their MiMi's maybe once every month or two, and I can't wait for them to leave. I run around the house screaming in glee.

That is because they are boys.

Don't worry, and think about how much fun you will have listening to her go on and on about what she did at camp! She will learn so much and have a great time! And you have Darling Yendi to keep you from feeling too lonely!

hugs

I'm really hoping she has a great time! She could be miserable. I hope she's not miserable!

Awww. I remember how I felt when Lucy went on her first overnight visit. I think I crawled into her bed and cried for a while. It's normal. She'll be back before you know it.

Hugs,
Donna

Yeah, I'm actually both forlorn and really, really concerned - she's slept over at my parents' house before, and she had a one-night sleepover at her dojo, but this is two nights with people she doesn't know that well, and it's camping. So I really hope she does okay. This could either be a great learning & growing experience or completely disastrous.
