I'll be offline for at least a few hours, and possibly all day... play nice!

Also, a reminder: Movie Night this Saturday! Themes suggested so far include Bruce Willis Dystopian Future Night, Trekkies with Cameras Night (Free Enterprise, Galaxy Quest)... any other suggestions are welcomed as well! :)

Professional Wrestlers on Film night? "They Live", "Predator", "Suburban Commando"...

Clint Eastwood, the "Man with no eyes, just a squint" theme?

Or you could simply permanently ban me for even suggesting the above :p

"Hell comes to Frogtown", Thunder in Paradise I, II, andIII, "No holes barred"--no, wait--that's the porn version. I meant, "No Holds Barred", "Santa with Muscles", "Buy and Cell", "Immortal Combat", etc., etc., etc, . . .

"Luca Brassi Night" - movies about hit men. The Professional, The Mechanic, Crying Freeman (Toss in a little anime there), etc.
Wednesday, July 31st, 2002 06:02 am (UTC)
"Rushmore", "The Royal Tenenbaums", and the one that started it all; "Bottle Rocket". All very good.

For a long time, Postvixen and I have wanted to do a Mysterious Briefcase movie marathon: North by Northwest, Repo Man, etc...

And Pulp Fiction! :)

That was one of the other ones I was trying to remember... Also, I think I may have confused )_NbyNW_ with _Kiss Me Deadly_. I hear _Big Trouble_ was another Briefcase film, but I don't know if it will stand up in the distinguished company that's already been mentioned. :)
