Today was much better.
I unpacked, I organized, I was Tour Guide Barbie. I had lunch. The student workers showed up while I was finishing lunch, and I discovered that the other two students share my opinion of the idjit... as the idjit started rambling on in a way that best showcased his complete stupidity, we were *all* struggling not to laugh. Finally,. I could hold it in no longer, exploding into a five-mninute laughing fit and taking the others with me. Idjit shrugged and said, "Oh, yes, people laugh at me all the time," which only set us off worse...
I pretty much worked with the students for the rest of the afternoon, putting stuff away, and it went fine. We laughed at Idjit Boy a lot. :) Still really tiring, though... I'm so drained that I've given up my writing night! Brain not fully functional, and I'm at a semidifficult point in the issue. I'm going to bring my scriptbook along with me tomorrow and see if I can get some writing done before anyone else gets to the office.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
yendi's "date" for the movie fell through, anyway, so he's just as glad to stay at home - and we really need to clean. Which I am in no mood to do, but know that I will be in even less of a mood to do by this weekend.
And we went to get cinnamon ice cream at Bruster's, because we deserve it.
Also, Elayna's boxes came today! Most of her wardrobe and toys that we sent down to Florida. So I'll put that stuff away too. Yay! I get Miss Kid back in less than a week!
