My friend Kendra is pregnant with her second baby. The doctor think that the baby may have a heart defect.

Please take a moment to send some healing thoughts her way - prayer or holding her in the light or lighting a candle or whatever way you in particular have for communicating with the universe - even if you're a total atheist, please just stop and think, "I hope the kid turns out okay". Because it can make a difference whether you think it does or not. (Yes, I know how some of you feel about this. No arguing!)

Good thoughts on the way. I remember having a scare like that with Ro.

You know it freaks me out everytime you mention that name. Until I started reading you on 'song's friend's list, I had NEVER come across anyone else with the nickname of Ro! It's really really eerie.

Umm? I realize they're gonna take away my geek-translator card for this, but...what?

There was a recurring minor character named Ro Laren.

Oh. *blink* Did I know this? Next Gen, you say? Hrmph. I watch the first five or so seasons of that a LOT...I would expect to know this. *grumble*

Does "Ensign Ro" ring a bell?

No arguing indeed - no-one's ever been hurt by a good thought. You know I'll be thinking good thoughts to them. Send them hugs from me, okay?

Can't they fix those things in utero these days?
Monday, August 5th, 2002 12:14 pm (UTC)
Well, ideally, they'd like to avoid risky and difficult surgery...

Just holding some positive energy for your friend and her child.

You've got it (and so does Kendra and the wee one). Hugs all around as well.

The baby's a girl, right?

done, and done.

Lots of love and light going out to Kendra and baby and the whole family!

I'm sure things will be all right. My cousin Debbie's older son was born with a hole in his heart, and he is currently a teenager, active and healthy!
