So. Miss Kid is back. :)
She's at least an inch taller, and tan and happy, and does not at first glance appear to be brainwashed - and she's thrilled to be back. She was bouncing as much as I was yesterday. :) We hung out at the house for a few hours while my parents checked into their hotel (I told her about
metaphorge's Kubricks while we played with Legos), and then went out to Chili's and Bruster's. Then back to the house, where we watched a videotape of her swimming and of her last karate lesson in Florida. I'm so proud of this kid - she really works so hard at karate!
We finally got her to bed at like 9:40. And I followed soon after.
Unfortunately, I was unable to get to sleep until 11something - and awoke to
yendi's screams (leg cramp) at 4:20. He went right back to sleep. I didn't. Just laid there for an hour listening to him snore. :( So I'm even *more* tired today...
Ah well. Got to go pretend to work until I can get some real work done. Tonight: Elayna's first karate lesson back here!

And I get those screaming leg cramps sometimes, too! They are no fun, no fun at all. Hubby usually wakes up and forces me to straighten out the leg and flex it while he holds the foot against his chest. I hate when he does it, but it is also what gets the danged thing to calm down. Though sometimes if I move too quickly after a spasm, it comes right back!
Take a nap...tell them you're reflecting or meditating or something! :-)
