Movie Night report!

Attendees were mousegrrl, ilexx, dslartoo, metaphorge, rloveking, and voltbang, who arrived in that order. There was Bruster's, there was merriment, and it was really really cool to see/meet everyone! metaphorge reiterated quite eloquently that he is the cuddlepuppiest person in Atlanta. Which rocks, because I've so been missing stronae-style cuddles.

My only problem was Elayna's behavior... she was in a Mood. I was disappointed, as I'd so wanted to show off how cool she was, but she kept having these inertia-based blowups ("I don't want to go to Bruster's! I want to stay here!" "I don't want to take a bath!"). Probably my fault.... my parents have been keeping her extremely active all week, with every single day filled with places to go and things to be done. And, like me, Elayna sometimes needs to just decompress. So it was probably a mistake to hold Movie Night on her first non-overscheduled day. I'm sure she'll be better next week, after she settles back into her routine.

Was fabulous to see everyone! :)

yeh... Elayna really is a Very Cool Kid, despite her behaviour yesterday. but thanks for having us all over anyway -- i know i, for one, really needed the company and the cuddles. =)

I see where this is going... I'm not moving to Atlanta fast enough, so I'm being surreptitiously replaced. A clever ploy, no matter if I eventually get up there or not. Sigh....
