The bus actually arrived *exactly* on time! And Elayna was ready on time, too; generally, she likes to dawdle in the morning. We really have to get accustomed to our new schedule, though (bus gets here an hour earlier than it used to).

So Elayna's off to her first day of second grade, and I'm all bouncy for her. :)

Now if only the bus driver learns to wait until Elayna is seated before moving. If she does it again, I'm just going to stand in the doorway of the bus until Elayna is sitting down.

I've got about 2 1/2 weeks 'til school starts here. And that morning we'll be trying to get two kids and my brother out the door for their first day of school!
