Drop a comment in their own journals? Some people just come through and do polls by the poll number.

By the poll number? How does that work? Polls are cruisable outside of their journal of origin?

Polls are most definitely cruisable. In your journal post with the poll, for example, there's a link that says "fill out poll." That link is this: http://www.livejournal.com/poll/?id=53272&mode=enter

Should we tweak a number there, it becomes this: http://www.livejournal.com/poll/?id=53271&mode=enter and that leads somewhere completely different. No matter if the poll is in a friends-locked post, the poll is still accessible through numbersurfing. One person is evidently filling out all polls that allow zim to, I heard.
