Left work at 2:30. Went to pick kid up. Bumped into her friend's dad, who invited her over to play. Great. So came home, changed to play clothes, go her over there. Now we're back. An hour after I left work.
I'm going to go lie down now, but first...a question! And yes, this one's a rerun:
Something you probably don't know about me: I collect Buddha statues. I have them in brass, jade, cinnabar, and faux-ivory.
Tell me something - anything - that I don't know about you.
And now I'm resting.

My half sister also has 3 kids, and the daughter has at least one kid. And my half brother has 3 kids with at least one of them having a kid. I don't think any of my nieces or nephews are over 18.
But you already knew my family was full of freaks.

I've been stupid and spent into rent money when I knew better.
I've eaten out of dumpsters and lost my mind at one time.
I tried to commit suicide the first time at 11.
I've been in love with someone who I never met.
I've been gay bashed 3 times.
I am scared of gay guys who are larger than I or more physically intimidating than I am because when I was 19 I met a guy on line who played on my idiocy and brought me on a trip to see him where he beat me and locked me in his apartment.
I have never broken a bone.
That should do it for now. *waves* *trots off to next interesting question*é

baking and decorating cakes
So Ben comes in, and scoffs "oh I can read that, that's easy." Ed goes, "what does it say, Ben?", "happy birthday" in an entirely condescending tone. Everyone lost it, especially those who hadn't been able to see the dark/light message. He was just like, what? what? Ed "it says trust the psi corps, Ben" "yeah, right, whatever, cute guys" Phil- "no really, she misspelled corps, like apple core". Ben "that's Cara alright, wow." He was duly impressed. Still thought I was a whacko, or rather, now had further confirmation of this, but was appropriately gratious in admitting my cake decorating prowess.

On the off-chance that you knew that:
I collect faerie statues. And cats, and unicorns.

My Confirmation name is Irenaea, after a nun who died when I was a freshman in high school, and the other nuns were so touched they gave me her cross. Of course, I was soon to become pagan and already knew I was doing the Confirmation to make the parents happy and to get the presents.
The first rock album I ever bought for myself was AC/DC Back in Black.
