Miss Kid is unwell. Not drastically - she had a fever of almost 101 last night (fell asleep on the ten-minute drive home from school!), and she's got 99.9 this morning, so she's upstairs watching Fairly Oddparents.

It's usually [livejournal.com profile] yendi who stays with her, because he can do about 85% of his job from home, but today I volunteered. I have been low on spoons all week, and the stress regarding Fred is taking even more out of me - plus my Keppra dosage went up again last night, so I'm expecting an unpleasant day. I have the aspiration/possible biopsy and freshman mentoring program tomorrow, freshman mentoring program Friday, [livejournal.com profile] wmga coffee on Saturday, and freshman mentoring program on Sunday. I need a day of downtime. Especially with my further adventures with Fred tomorrow morning.

Totally exhausted. I'll nap today. She's good about letting me nap.

Napping will also hopefully help give me energy to Do Stuff Around The House. I was terribly embarrassed with the state of the house these past few days, with a guest here - though [livejournal.com profile] gwynraven's more like a part of the family than a guest and doesn't really care if the house is perfect. Side effect of having a mother who has a weekly housekeeper and still goes insane making the bathroom sinks sparkle when we're going to have Company, even if it's only her brother and sister-in-law. I'm not remotely that bad. But I do hate having dirty dishes in the sink when people come over.

So my goals for today...

* Nap.
* Watch women's gymnastics from last night - I *heart* TiVo.
* Laundry.
* Tidy up.
* Get some writing done!

I have all day and night, so I should be able to get a satisfactory amount of stuff done, indulging in necessary rest between tasks.

Oh, and I'd like to make candles with Elayna, if she's up to it. And we'll play board games and stuff. All depends on how she's feeling...

TV just went off, so upstairs I go...

I really enjoyed that "spoon theory." I can think of several people in my life that it applies to. It made some things click for me. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you ever so much for the "Spoon"!

I am learning how to live my life. I keep learning. Sometimes I forget and drop all my spoons.
