So I eventually did get to the theater last night, and even got good seats, and chatted with Thomas for like an hour and a half pre-movie. Which was good and not weird at all. :)

I'll reserve any spoilers 'til after [livejournal.com profile] yendi has seen it. But it was good. It was very good. Much better than Episode I, with much less Jar-Jar, and I rolled my eyes at the same parts [livejournal.com profile] tikimama did. And [livejournal.com profile] yendi needs to recruit a babysitter so we can go see it together so I can post details, dammit!

The downside - 3 hours of sleep. Ugh.

Oh, and I'm not nauseous today. Feeling much better. I think it was the increased dosage of the PTSD pills - going to start taking them at night instead.

Yes, it's another Girl Scout update!

So the girls are going on a field trip to Babyland General Hospital (http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/GACLEbaby.html) , home of the Cabbage Patch Kids. The troop leader is using their cookie earnings to finance the trip and buy them each a doll. Because they really *need* another doll. *eyeroll*

She finally informs us on Monday of the day and time of the trip (no, she hadn't given us any info prior to then, other than that she was taking them there). So I wrote back to her to inform her that I had my final training seminar to be a troop leader at that exact day and time, and ask if anyone could pick Elayna up. She told me that I should contact the moms directly, maybe Madison's mom (who chauffeured Elayna to the camping trip).

Okay. I just feel that, since she's organizing this, and I'm taking this class because of her *anyway*, she should be arranging transportation for these kids!

Rather than even get started with her, I e-mailed Madison's mom - she said no problem. But I feel bad for imposing on her again.

Okay, y'know what I said about feeling better today, not feeling nauseous or in pain?

Strike that; reverse it.

I e-mailed the troop leader to RSVP Elayna for the trip, and I asked when she was available to deliver Elayna's cookie-selling prizes. We had previously discussed meeting at work, as she works on campus too - she said she didn't want to hand them out at school or at a meeting because she didn't want the girls comparing what they got. Which makes sense. So okay. We were going to meet here at work. I get the following e-mail in return:

"I passed out prizes last week. Elayna was in primetime. [Prime Time is her after-school program. -S.] I called her over to the table, showed her the prizes and told her that she should remember to take them home with her. She said she would. Then I gave them to the older woman at Prime time (I can't remember her name). She even wrote Elayna's name on the bag. I first asked her if there was a safe place to put them and she placed both Raven's bag AND Elayna's bag in a place. Please let me know ASAP if she got them."

I. Am. So. Pissed.

She passed them out? Last *week*? And didn't tell me that she was doing so? When was she going to fucking tell me? And a week of a bag full of stuff, sitting in the school cafeteria? She better *hope* the Prime Time staff still has the bag, or I'm filing a complaint with the Girl Scout Service unit, and that bitch is going to have to buy my kid prizes. That's the patch, t-shirt, stuffed animals, journal and pen, and a clock radio that my daughter *earned*. That that bitch dumped off in the cafeteria after *telling* me that she wanted to deliver them to me in person. And didn't even tell me she'd already delivered them.

If they're not there today, she's paying for them. My daughter sold 300 boxes of cookies. She *earned* those prizes.

Just watched Friends season finale.

Want another baby, like, *now*.
