So I eventually did get to the theater last night, and even got good seats, and chatted with Thomas for like an hour and a half pre-movie. Which was good and not weird at all. :)

I'll reserve any spoilers 'til after yendi has seen it. But it was good. It was very good. Much better than Episode I, with much less Jar-Jar, and I rolled my eyes at the same parts tikimama did. And yendi needs to recruit a babysitter so we can go see it together so I can post details, dammit!

The downside - 3 hours of sleep. Ugh.

We got there at 9 and sat there, waiting in the seats. A couple of beach balls broke out, so we all had fun for awhile...Jango Fett showed up with a Jawa...(I asked around, and found out that Jango didn't work at the theatre, like I thought...but the manager asked him to walk around in the different five screens it was going to play in, and when people came up with their cameras to take pictures, they confiscated them.).
And like my journal entry says, Master Yoda with a lightsaber? WOW.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention... the theater staff was trying to entertain us. The operative word, of course, being "trying". Like leading us (well, not Thomas & I - everyone else) in a round of "If You're Happy and You Know It", and asking if anyone knew any good jokes.

Clever idea to get the cameras....
