Awake too early

Hello to new friends blueingenue and flutter_fly!

Rather than Spooky, due to extreme brokeness (but hey, we get paid on Thursday!), yendi and mightywombat and I went to see "Knockaround Guys". Which was okay. We're going to try to see Spooky on Friday, if iroshi and mcredneck want to and jet_li_wannabe wants to babysit. Went to JavaMonkey after the movie - bumped into vidicon and bheansidhe there, yay! And bheansidhe's friend whose name I can't remember... *hangs head in shame*

Still having a Bad Feeling. That, combined with the clear message that my "retirement" is over. Concerned that things may come to a head in the following week or two. iroshi, did you ever do that journey to try to find out what we're feeling?

Elayna's karate sleepover was thoroughly uneventful from an injury point of view, which is a Very Good Thing. She had a blast. :)

'k. Stepping away from the computer now - got to hang up Elayna's clean clothes and bring her winter wardrobe out of storage, and put her shorts and short-sleeved shirts in storage, and then go help Miss Maddie party like a rock star!

Elayna has a lot of clothes.
Elayna has a tiny closet.
So we have to store out-of-season stuff in underbed boxes and her dresser.
So twice a year, we have to rotate every single item of clothing she owns from the closet to the dresser/boxes, and vice versa.
This is a colossal pain in the ass, and now I have a headache and a backache, but it's as done as it can get - she still has to try on clothes to see if they still fit/fit now.
I'm *tired*.

*decisive nod*

I actually got Elayna to try on her entire fall/winter wardrobe today. Kick ass. So that is *done*.

Had a great time celebrating the birthday of the fabulous Maddie! Met anexstacy and sylkweb and blueingenue, and sucked sylkweb's LJless date Thomas into joining NaNoWriMo, at the urging of elorie (whose presence meant, of course, that Elayna got to see the other evil genius child, Raven). And oh yeah, rloveking and voltbang were there too. :)

So. Yes. Things got accomplished today, and fun was had. And now I shall go for a walk.
