Hello to new readers : [livejournal.com profile] bkwrrm_tx and [livejournal.com profile] th3ch3at!

Medical
Vision a little weird, vocals a little weird, face tingly. Nausea nausea nausea. Exhaustion.

EDIT: I'm having a big "Fuck this shit" day. It's been a really bad week/end, medically. Hell, that's probably what my 2HC column is going to end up being about. Just... venting.

My mind is clearer than it was on Lamictal and Keppra - still addled, but much less so - but my body is not doing well. Sick of this, man, seriously.

EDIT: I seem to become a nervous wreck at the slightest bit of timecrunch stress. Like, 10x more than ever before.

Weather
It's 20 degrees out there. Ouchie. I so did not sign on for this.

Arisia
Does anyone have a program that they can fax me?

Autocompletes
The answer: I was the one who said "Here I am, brain the size of a planet." 'Twas Adam who said "Rock me like a hurricane."

We overlap a lot in the sci-fi and '80s hair-metal departments. So much more than you know. :)

Elayna is having a Mad Science birthday party!

Part of the benefit of this: The kids get to do a bunch of projects... including two things to take home. So I don't have to do goodie bags. Well, I'll get bags, but I don't have to fill them with stuff. Yay!

So, my idea: a CD. Science-themed, of course. There aren't enough science songs out there, so I'll have to do some non-science stuff... but I'd like to have as many science-themed songs as possible.

Which is where you come in, dear reader.

Help!

The songs we have so far:

* "Weird Science", Oingo Boingo
* "She Blinded Me with Science", Thomas Dolby
* "The Sun", They Might Be Giants

We need more.

All songs must be appropriate for ten-year-olds, and preferably upbeat and attention-holding. TMBG's "For Science", for example, has science stuff - but is a bit too far out for the kids.

Hit me!

I want to meet up with people at Arisia!

This poll is viewable by no one but me. Gimme your number.

And feel free to post randomness whether you're going to Arisia or not. :)

I'm too exhausted to write about how exhausted I am. Heh.

Column is with Adam for proofreading and general fixing.

I am on time. Go me.

Haven't been writing much fiction lately; I'm going to give that a whirl right about now. Thank the gods for drama club, which gives me an extra two kidless hours to Do Stuff on Tuesdays! And I really hope Elayna gets her new part today; the teacher forgot to give it to her last week... Elayna's really excited about getting a bigger part. And I was a drama geek, so this pleases me. :)

Not gonna force the writing. And that's part of the problem - too exhausted to let the writing flow! I need to rest more. I'll probably take a nap after picking Miss Kid up from school.

Je suis boring, y'all.

I just met [livejournal.com profile] pharminatrix! And I am all like whee!

And now I must be all like going to bed and stuff.

But! [livejournal.com profile] pharminatrix! Whee!

EDIT: Who was it that brought up the whole thing about since Tolkein's dead, he now sucks angel ass? And that the Principalities and Thrones have, like, nine assholes? And that's a lot of rim jobs? And when they poop, it's gotta be like the Play-Doh barbershop set?

Because that was funny.
