Got the school newsletter today, and saw that they were thinking of forming a third Brownie troop, and that they needed leaders. So I volunteered. Yay for getting the hell away from the idiot troop leader! And I'm also volunteering on the PTA to chair th e book fairs, and yendi's volunteering tech support.

We had a sub at the preschool today. I got to lead circle time because I was the only mom there who knew all the songs. I can't wait till the boychild's old enough to be involved in all those fun school activities!

These are the kind of stories that make me want to have a kid. Then I hear one of Adam's 'kid threw up in my lap' and it reminds me why I don't.
