Bloody brilliant, and about time!

So we pick Miss Kid up from school today, and yes, it's already That Time: PTA fundraiser time. When we get home, I pull out the envelope - and squeal in surprised delight!

They now have a web catalog. So you can send a link to your out-of-town friends and family, too, and they can order online and the kid can get credit towards the prizes!

This rocks! Now we'll be able to sell a *lot* more.

If you want the link, e-mail me; however, I'm only going to give it to people that I really know, as it has her full name and school name (like sambear can have it, but I don't know grittynoir that well yet - basically, if you know my real name, I'll probably give you the link). So please don't feel insulted if I say, "I'm sorry, I don't really know you well enough yet." And I'll be taking orders at DragonCon too. :)

The other highlight of the trip home: new class pet. A caterpillar. Named Caterpilia, which sounds like a fetish to me, but hey. Caterpilia came home with us, in her little plastic bug carrier. Yeah. I'm thrilled, really.

That is brilliant! What's the name of the company/website that does this so I can suggest it to our PTA? I hate fundraisers, it's a thorn in our side around here. This would be a much easier way to sell with friends and family so far away.

Man, I used to date this guy who was totally into Caperpilia! You can get really chaffed if you're not careful.

Send me the link, at D*C I'll have already spent my money on goofy stuff. :P I always loathed those fundraisers--I was the worst salesperson, and neither of my parents worked at a big company. Ugh.
