The Y has a few spaces left!
The receptionist couldn't guarantee her a spot, because the people who run the camp are only there on weekdays - but we'll show up by around 7:30 (I need to be at work at 8), so hopefully no other desperate parents will get there before us. And the receptionist also didn't know if they could pro-rate the fees (would rather not pay for a week when she'll only be there two days, but I really have no choice!), but we'll ask tomorrow.
I am so relieved.
And if we get there tomorrow and they say they have no spaces, I am prepared to cry until they let her in.
