Oh, the party's in Florida! Going to drop Miss Kid off with her grandparents for the summer, and I'll be seeing all the friends that haven't had the good sense to follow me up to Atlanta.
Well, husband v.2 and I had a house with a pool at one time. It was a major nuisance in terms of both upkeep and things like liability (neighborhood kids kept climbing the fence to swim without our permission). Husband had to do daily chemical monitoring and adjustments, cleaning, etc. (we didn't have a nifty sweeper-bot thingy). So I didn't think I ever wanted to have a pool again. And sambear's parents had a pool when he was growing up, so he knows about all the icky stuff too. But there are obviously benefits to having a private pool :-)
I see... I grew up in south Florida in a neigborhood where everyone had their own pool, so we had no neighbor-kid problem. And Dad pays a company to do the chemical stuff. Dad's lazy. :) But yes, there are benefits... :)
I'm just hoping we can get rid of my parents for long enough! :)
I don't know that most of the alcohol from the floating bar is still good. It's been like a year since I've even looked at it. People are probably going to have to bring their own alcohol. I know I have tequila but that's it.

If we can find a private pool, hell yeah. It's a conditioned response - put my in the pool and my bathing suit comes off.
