My first full day without Elayna here.

The morning was weird, but it didn't really sink in until tonight.... driving straight home instead of picking her up and ferrying her to karate. It's 8:58 now. I had no clue. My time sense is just gone. She was my time sense.

I don't get to kiss her goodnight.

For 7 weeks.

I can't even imagine. I've never been away from Katie for more than two weeks at a time. I've having trouble with the one week at camp.

She spent last summer with my parents, but it wasnn't as long, and I had the move and job search and everything to deal with. Now I have lots of time to miss her. :(

Seriously, ::hugs:: for you, honey. 7 weeks will have flown by before you know it (that's barely two menstrual cycles!). :)

I'm already fretting about not seeing Henry and Lucy until next Tuesday -- Stephen's taking them to his parents' house for a few days, and then I'm leaving Friday.
