Checked out and added you right back. :) I especially like the Anne of Green Gables/Laura Ingalls Wilder post... need to respond to that when I get a chance! :)
it's so hot and i'm meltingly lazy that i'm just going to comment to you here. bleagh! i added you to my friends list... hi *waves* will probably say more later...
It's one of the many, many things that have too much sugar in them for a diabetic to eat. I can get by without the cakes and the biscuits and the like. I can even get by without chocolate, now my brain and body are co-operating in remembering how sick it makes me these days but I do miss ice cream, even the terribly limited selection we have here. I often have to talk myself past the freezers in supermarkets as the temptation is so great. Causes some odd looks from passers-by. ;-)
I'm not saying they don't but that's the sort of consumer item that doesn't really circulate beyond the big towns and I live in a small town, even counting in the student population. There isn't a vast amount of consumer choice.
Still, there's hardly anywhere in town that you can't see the countryside (it's that small) which makes up for some deficiencies.

I just got off the phone with Elayna - told her you were coming back. She's excited, too. :)

Do they not make sugar-free ice cream or frozen yogurt over there?
