Fucking hell. That heel-pain/muscle-spasm thing is acting up again. OUCH.
And none of the churches the service unit director recommended allow troops not directly sponsored by them to meet there anyway. Not like I really wanted to meet in a church, but hey, safety net would be good. Ah well.
And I got back from lunch to find a *crowd* waiting for me, and I had to deal with everything at once - finding out that apparently my boss was at a meeting, and that's who two of the people needed to see, and sorting out incoming grad students and professors, and letting deliverypeople into offices, and one of the new professors wanted to know, in the middle of this, where to go for lunch! I just blinked at him, whipped out a map, circled our location and circled the Village, and said, "You are here. Lunch is there." and ran off to let workmen in.
Yeesh.
Okay. Breathe, 'song, breathe...

Try a community center for your troop meeting. Although not allowing GS meetings doesn't speak very well for those churches' Christian charity, does it?

Also no community centers 'round here that I know of.

Just curious, in case it is similar to what I have, and maybe you know what causes it. :) I am still sore even today, but the pain is gone, thankfully.
