Okay, I don't actually have much to say - I just figured that one of us should do a non-quiz post at some point today. :P

So. Today. Yes. yendi mailed my birthmom's presents to her. When I get home tonight, I have to hang up Elayna's clothes (she has picture day tomorrow) and place the order for my damn summer wardrobe already.

Speaking of which, I'm so glad that the new office is designed the way it is - the computer lab and CS staff are in a totally separate wing. This is a beautiful thing because they keep the thermostat down to I-swear-it-must-be-50-degrees in here. Why? "We need to keep the lab cool. We can't have the computers heating up."

Separate wing. Separate thermostat. Meaning I will no longer need my space heater in here when it's 80 freakin' degrees outside.

So. Other than freezing my ass off, it's a good day. :)

thermostats are controlled by big old fat white guys in wool suits. They like to be comfy, so they make it freezing for the rest of us.

at least, that's the general rule I learned when temping.
