even if she stresses me, i will sing love for my mom even though all my friends think she's utterly insane.....

its not everyday you can gross your friends out by talking about your moms piercings, and how you came about knowing about them. .

i always sing teh love for my friends, but one person i noteably(sp?) is my lil bro. . . he might be a jackass, but he's an alright kid, and he's becoming a better kid day by day, maybe when he's 50 he'll be grown up, I just wish I had the childlike ways he does sometimes

I completely agree. Today is not an ultimatum, it is permission to become the sappy love being you always want to be! I do not have a sweetie, so to say, but it doesn't prevent me from sending flowers to my best friend, her husband, and aunt... cards to family, and general wishes to those I see.

Reducing Valentine's Day (or even Sweetest Day) to a shotgun of love is like reducing May Day to an orgy. There's other stuff going on!
