See, there's some kind of pattern here. When someone gets an obscene amount of power/mutates, he/she turns blue. Think about it: X-Men? Hank is blue. Underworld? Werewolf/vamp boy comes into his powers and turns blue. Angel? Illyria takes over Fred's body and turns BLUE. And now Cain is cast out by God and is marked forever by being turned BLUE.
