EDIT: Just sent the following to the Council via the feedback form on their website, and will call them Tuesday if they don't call me tomorrow:

I'd like my daughter to switch troops ASAP - ideally, bringing her cookie proceeds to her new troop. Our family is having a continuing problem with our current troop based on harassment caused by the troop leaders' refusal to take into account my physical disability. I would appreciate a call from someone who can handle this. I'll be at the number listed above after 12:30 on weekdays.

Hopefully, this communicates that I am Serious here.

I've been barely functional lately, just in terms of exhaustion, and when I say exhaustion, I mean that it is quite difficult for me to stay awake and difficult for me to move about the house. I need my weekends to rest. I'm not capable of giving eight hours of my weekend to this bitch. She got four, and she's getting my kid for another four. That's going to have to be enough.

I've been reading about this without comment because i'm actually incredulous that the Troop Leader is acting the way that she's acting. She has not only been insane about pushing you to volunteer more when you have an actual disability, but she has been consistantly mean to your daughter. I am a former Girl Scout, daughter of a Girl Scout, both my mother and my sister were camp councilors at the same Girl Scout camp (my sister's name is actually what my mother used as her camp name), and my sister was a troop leader for an inner-city troop that had no parents volunteering to do anything, not even lead the troop. My daughter will participate in Girl Scouting when she's old enough. This is an organization that I love dearly and the fact that this person cares so little for her girls, and for the limitations of some of her parents angers me more than I can say. It sounds to me like this woman's sole reason for involvement is so that she can put it on her list of "wonderful things that i'm doing that prove that i'm a wonderful mother" and really doesn't care about the girls, who are the only truly important people in the organization.

If I wasn't so far away, i'd offer to bite her for you.

Riiiiiight. *They're* harrassing *you* - par for the course in this vast space known as the Shariverse! Are you sure you just aren't mad about getting in trouble for explicitly breaking the cookie sale policy (oh, but they don't apply to you, I forgot)? Not to mention that it's just not a good day in your world if you're not getting attention...sometimes we delusionals must resort to manufacturing our own stories for such attention, right? Oops, I'm sorry. I also forgot to take into account your physical disabilities. Yet, it's funny how your self-proclaimed disabilities don't impede you from doing the things that *you* want to do. Oh, damn...I KEEP FORGETTING THIS IS NOT THE UNIVERSE...IT'S SHARIVERSE! The only physical disabilities you suffer from are hypochondria, narcissism, pseudoseizures, lack of maternal instincts...and unabashed ugliness.

PS - I'm sure the GS Council will most assuredly take your "seriousness" into account and will be more than happy to fall at your feet honoring your every request when they see that you so respectfully call Elayna's troop leader a bitch in a public forum. For the life of me, I really don't understand how these people *actually* buy into her crap. It's amazing, really. The troll does quite a miraculous snowjob apparently.

Let's not forget though that she's still working because Emory just *can't* cope without her. She's clearly such a remarkable asset to them, obviously. I just don't see how she gets all of that important work done while still managing to post on LJ as much as she does. She must just be *that* good.

I wonder if she's learned what a razor is for yet.
