I can't stop listening to "Somebody Told Me", by The Killers. It sounds like the soundtrack to a club scene in an anime that hasn't been written.

I must write this.

Yes, Monkey, I was a good girl and wrote my column. :)

No, I will not extrapolate odd nihilistic anime from extremely danceable 80s-esque music tonight. Tired and scatterheaded. G'night...

*points* Pretty pretty [livejournal.com profile] enderfem!

I bought a few of the songs off iTunes; don't have the whole album. I haven't gotten around to listening to any of them except "Somebody Told Me" yet. I just play that one over. And over. And over.

It's been about a week now.

I seriously think I need to write a scene around that song just so I can move on to the next song. Before [livejournal.com profile] yendi kills me.

Aww, thankies!
(You can't tell it here, but I am v. short, and am forever coveting a blonde version of the "short chick" icon you and [livejournal.com profile] regyt have)

That is definitely my favorite song off the album, but some of the other ones are fun too.

I am a big fan of playing the same song over and over, and had to start listening to everything on headphones before [livejournal.com profile] blitheandbonny killed me, as apparently she has enough hearing left to object to Placebo's "My Sweet Prince" being played for the 30th time in a row.

Some people are unreasonable like that :)

Make one! Mine's the original - [livejournal.com profile] regyt photoshopped to for maximum curlyhaired-ness. I best she'd change the hair color for you.

The icon was created by [livejournal.com profile] khaosworks, for crediting purposes.

G'night Helly. :)

If you wrote that anime, you would be my hero.

I'm glad I'm not the only who falls into daydreams of the 80s whenever a Killers song hits the airwaves. I must get this album.

Mr. Brightside is better. The whole album is really good though.

I second this motion. Both of 'em. I'd "yousendit" a couple more songs, but alas, the hard drive where I keep all of my music is not very happy with Henry right now.

I love that song for no reason that I can discern. There is, of course, much bishie goodness about it.

I LOVE this song.

At Burning Man, a campmate of mine and I DJ'd after the burn on Saturday night.

This was hi last song, which I followed up with some Kruder & Durfmeister. I love both, but the sure don't blend.

Anyways, that song is always...dusty...in my head.

And I will, someday, perform that song in drag. It's like it was MADE for it.
